Assist with negotiations for space contracts and book event space, arrange food and beverage, order supplies, equipment and signage, and ensure appropriate décor to meet quality and Brand expectations.
Create and revise room layouts for each event.
Keep track of event finances including cheque requests, invoicing, and reporting.
Coordinate appointments and scheduling of events on the calendar.
Act as the point of contact as smaller events as needed.
Help to document activities prior to and during the events for internal and external communications.
Responsible for the smoothness of service of all Catering and conventions at the hotel; The link between the departments
Keeps abreast of all changes and /or cancellations of all functions on the change sheet time date place and number of guests attending;
Checks with the organizer of the event on the following points before the functions commences;
Checks the cleanliness of the function rooms, the adequacy of the lighting and the correct temperature of the room.
Processing cheque, cash and direct debit payments and withdrawals.
Setting up and maintain customers' accounts.
Assist customers and provide them with the necessary information to resolve the problems.
Promoting and selling financial products and services to customers.
Using a computerized system to update account details.
General administration tasks such as maintaining records, opening post and sending letters to customers
Helping customers with mortgage and loan application
• Meeting with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements
• Presenting the campaign ideas and budget to the client
• Working with the account manager to brief media, creative and research staff
• Liaising and acting as the link between the client and advertising agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively
• Negotiating with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns
• Presenting creative work to clients for approval or modification
• Handling budgets and invoicing clients
