• Efficiently assisted the supervisor in Developing SOP and served as focal point for Refugee Departures (resettlement to third country & repatriation to the country of origin)
• Liaison with the International Organization for Migration, ICRC & other resettlement missions to organize departures
• Responsible for verifying Air Tickets Bills from travel agent / airlines and generating payment request accordingly
• Essayed a stellar role in:
o Liaising with Embassies regarding interview schedules, travel arrangements, interpreter requirements etc.
o Providing logistical support to the Durable Solution Unit & assisting refugees at the airport
o Dispatching all correspondences related to the unit & following-up on cases scheduled for departures to ensure that all pre departure formalities were complied
• Accountable for scheduling appointments & maintaining schedule in Novel Group-wise Mailing System
• Oversaw the preparation of MIS Reports, Itinerary, PowerPoint Presentations, etc.
• Effectively streamlined the Manpower System and automated the working procedure helped in saving cost and time
• Spearheaded the preparation of analytical reports for Headquarters and Resettlement Countries
• Pivotal in generating payment requests for medical reimbursements, and several types of other grants
• Contributed significantly towards:
o Filing important papers / letters & screening phone calls & direct to the ADSO if required
o Handling delegation / guests from abroad & maintaining the database of addresses & phone numbers
o Drafting correspondence, emails, faxes, memoranda, etc., taking notes and preparing minutes of the meetings
o Translating official letters sent by government offices & updating refugee database on daily basis for monitoring durable solutions provided to refugees
• Prepared statistical reports for weekly updates, monthly situation reports, quarterly and annual reports & generated specific & ad-hoc queries / reports as per office requirement from the existing data
• Instrumental role in conducting resettlement and other counselling interviews in line with organization’s standard
• Assisted ADSO in developing Resettlement Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) in 2011.
• Assisted ADSO in preparing Country report 2011. Also assisting in preparing Country report 2012.
• Assisted ADSO in preparing Country Operation Planning 2011-13.
• Conducted an English speaking session for housekeeping staff in December 2011 to enable them to communicate with International staff.

Scheduling appointments and maintaining schedule in database; filing of important papers and letters; domestic and International ticketing, Visas, passport etc.; domestic and International Hotel bookings; collection of relevant information from internet required by company from time to time; handling delegation and guests from abroad; maintaining the database of addresses and phone numbers; preparation of MIS reports, Itinerary, PowerPoint presentations etc.
I was also assisting in arranging Meetings & Seminars; budgeting for Events; draft invitation letters & agenda for the event; booking of conference hall & approval of menu for the event; follow-up with invitees; arrangement of backdrop, projector, mikes, flowers, sitting arrangement, etc. for the event; arrange for the pick-up and drop facility for special guests; arrange the menu script of every event; hand-over the menu script to the editor for editorial correction; set the layout for the publication (lecture series, working papers, PPW, etc.); coordinate with the printer to print the publication; coordinate in printing of Annual report, Half-yearly Newsletters, and other policy briefs.
I also have designed and maintained the database, Contact list, designed in MS-Access as a front end and SQL server as backend to keep the record of contact persons to be called for the events; coordination in maintaining the official website www.icrier.org.

Update and add the records of refugees in the database on regular basis; assist the supervisor in making the quarterly statistics of the refugees; provide technical support to colleagues in the office; arrange of files in a systematic order; take Photographs of refugees through digital camera for the preparation of refugee Certificate; adjust and modify those photographs in Photo Shop Pro/ Adobe PhotoShop to make them fit for printing of the certificate; link those photographs with the data based application made in access.
I was also preparing the reports from the database as per the office requirement; created a macro-based form in MS-WORD using the Visual Basic editor for Eligible Determination of refugees; created an application form in access for the purpose of updating the refugee data and to import and export the data with the Implementing Partners; created a report in Access to export the payment data from FoxPro to Excel and to generate the payment list.
