I dealt with all the old and new clients, incoming enquires and tenders. I handled the communication between and our inhouse departments, like creative and film. I also attended all the business networking events for the company.
I am currently working on an interim contract with the BCCQ developing their reach and expanding their client base here in Qatar. Reporting to the Managing Director my main tasks include;
• Making initial contact with local Government Institutions and Private business’s
• Meeting the above to gather information on their requirements and to find out where BCCQ can best help them develop their links with the UK.
• Selling individual or Corporate memberships to BCCQ
• Acting as the conduit between UK business’s and the local teams to arrange initial meetings and links
• Representing BCCQ at Trade events and with local launches of UK products and services
• Liaising between BCCQ, the British Embassy Qatar and the British Business Forum Qatar, plus other Nations Embassy’s and Chambers.
• Acting as an ambassador for BCCQ at all times.
Hexanova Events & Media AB Head of Sales 2014 - September 2017. Reporting directly to the CEO and as a member of the Executive Board, I was responsible for all day to day sales operations at Hexanova. We offered a range of Government days, Procurement Management events and media publications. My main tasks can be outlined as follows;
• I had full operational responsibility for a sales budget of 20 M SEK p.a. and this was achieved through a team of 12 sales professionals. I was integral in their recruitment / selection, induction and continued development and training.
• Clients included - Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cisco, IKEA, PWC, VW, Mitsubishi, Swedish Tax, Procurement and Civil Contingency Agencies.
• For the above I gained, built and maintained corporate customer relationships whilst selling our services. I was an award winning sales person for 2 years running achieving the top sales within the group.
• Event Management - design through to execution and corporate hospitality.
• Business development - working on new lines of business and project managing their onboarding.
• Contributed content and had editorial input to our publications and Hexanova website
• Wrote and updated the company social media sources.
