Human Resources:
• Develop and update Human Resource policies. Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary HR development theory and methods and provide interpretations to Country Director.
• Organizing and improvising efficient systems and procedures for office as per NDI policies and guidelines.
• Manage organizations recruitment process.
• Maintains employee benefit programs by studying and assessing needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs.
• Prepare service contracts for consultants and service providers
• Update and manage employee handbook as per labor law of Pakistan
• Arrange and conduct staff safety awareness workshops and trainings.
Administration:
• Conceive and implement efficient systems and procedures for administration department in compliance with NDI policies and guidelines
• Evaluate admin staff performances on annual basis
• Ensure that proper financial procedures and systems are followed in the Admin department.
• Liaise with Logistic department to ensure smooth coordination of program logistics
• Liaise with Ministry of Interior for expatriate staff visas
• Work closely with Sr. Finance Officer and providing support, if and when required
• Acts as a backup of Security Manager.
Procurement: Handled procurement for 5 years in 2010-15, along with Administration and Human Resource.
• Introduced, designed, developed and implemented procurement policy and system of the institute.
• Negotiated and oversaw cost analysis to control budget.
• Ensured quality of deliverables.
Finance: Handled procurement for four years in 2006-10.
• Developed and maintained financial management systems and ensured the submission of accurate monthly financial reconciliation statements to the head office in Washington DC.
• Coordinated and maintained a cash forecasting system to ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the working requirements of the programs.
• Prepared Quicken Reports/package for DC for each month after reconciling all expense and obtaining approval of Country Director.
• Major Emphasis on handling Portfolio of more than 2000 accounts over a volume of Rs. 200M approx.
• Lead and managed the Balance Transfer Facility (BTF) Product with a team of more than 10 Collection Officers.
• Conducted sessions on Product Knowledge, Customer Engagement, Mark Up calculations etc.
• Mortgage portfolio handling & Managing High Profile Customers.
• Maintained total Collection MIS on MS Word and MS Excel
