Description: The aim of this project is to develop an Alert system on Android platform smartphones which could aid user in case of emergency. The complete working of the application is based on the surrounding noise and that is when the application sends pre-programmed alerts accordingly. The surrounding noise is monitored by the microphones, if noise exceeds a particular threshold limit which user considers as an Emergency, an Alert Message will be sent to the person whose number is registered. Roles and Responsibilities: • Involved in complete Design of the Application Interface. • Involved in Implementation and Customization of the product. • Performed manual testing for the application. • Execution & modification of Test Cases. • Involved in Functional, Regression, UI Testing. • R&D on some concepts or issues faced during coding or implementation. • Writing SQL queries and maintenance of Database. • Documentation & bug reporting.
