Responsible for the operational, training and supervision of staff in relation to the loading and logistical processing of high value goods, within the largest distribution centre in Europe. Fully qualified in all associated goods in / out areas and all related machinery, equipment and vehicles. Accredited throughout the bronze award scheme in paperless loading, health & safety, quality control, data management, optimum target adherence and site maintenance.
The safe loading, handling and organized logistical distribution of hazardous chemicals and fuel, to varying locations throughout the U.K. chemical and petroleum industries. The implementation and training in all relating health and safety procedures to internal and external customers via ADR compliancy and COSHH awareness. The supervision of staff, quality control, protocol and auditing within all associated logistical key fields.
Working a continuous shift system, monitoring and controlling potable water supplies, sewage treatment and raw water systems for domestic and industrial customers, via a centralised control room using scada and telemetry systems.
Liaising with operational staff to deal effectively with faults, breakdowns and network problems, ensuring the full co-ordination and compliance of all safe systems at work. Providing daily reports and data on network performance, to various internal and external departments to meet targets and improve efficiency.
Worked as a process technician within one of the largest aromatic petrochemical plants in Europe. This involved the use and operation of compressors, furnaces, steam boilers, fractionating columns and pressure vessels safely and efficiently. Ensuring compliance on plant start-ups, shut downs and routine operations. Gathering and compiling process data to accurately enable adjustments for improving plant efficiency and production. Assisting maintenance staff on isolations, plant repairs, commissioning and modifications, to ensure full safe working procedures.
