Conducting risk assessments for upcoming work and provides technical assistance to the safety planning process
Advising the construction manager and safety manager on potential hazards at work site
Verifying proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment
Verifying agreed safety standards and applicable regulations are observed by the contractor.
Assisting and participates in site safety training
Reporting detailed incident/accident investigation reports to management
Reports near-misses
Reports safety statistics each month
Conducting safety induction and regular toolbox talk
Implementation of permit to work system
