Founded in 1994, PALMAS is a full service company specialised in the construction and repair of all metal structures including gates,
pergolas, railings, furniture, and lighting fixtures, rough and finish decorative metal work, pre-fabricated houses and steel buildings.
In 2020, I founded my small business ‘ArtNSteel’ to combine the main scope of PALMAS along with my interior design
background. ‘ArtNSteel’ offers a wide range of special steel decorative creations for every home, from furniture to garden
accessories
In the past 5 years, i increased sales ans business volume by 60%, through timely delivery of quality projects, commitment of industry standards and excellence in client servicing.
• Manage a wide range of projects from simply redecorating home interiors to overhauling entire kitchens, bathrooms, and
floor plans
• Manage interior design planning and implementation of leading steel projects, and manage a team of over 40 technicians and labors
• Design, Supervise/Approve steel structure drawings
• Develop studies and calculation notes for steel structures and structural steel buildings
• Prepare technical documentation for steel structure material requisition and assists the procurement department in the
technical evaluations
• Provide customers and partners with technical and manufacturing expertise, and extend services to every stage of a project;
design, drawing, fabrication, erection, and handover
• Conduct on-site observations and provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects

• Developed and presented design concepts. Prepared and participated in client presentations
• Researched concepts and materials to support design team on technical issues influencing concept development
• Responsible for subsequent design development and relevant quality control during all phases of project

• Developed project quote and fee quotation, and assisted in the preparation of proposals and contracts

• Ensured compliance with all client policies and procedures, considering the direct impact of each element of the project and
suggested amendments where applicable
• Worked within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion
• Created client pitch presentations and renderings (e.g. floorplans, elevations, finish plans and construction drawings)
• Managed a team of over 20 workers and technicians
• Worked closely with the clients to determine how to space will be utilized effectively, making recommendations on materials
and furnishings and offering estimate on project duration
• Showed strong leadership traits while delegating tasks to the design team; provided excellent follow-up to ensure the work
performed is in alignment with client specifications
• Directly involved in all purchasing activities, vendor negotiations and management of sub-contractors as well as
documentation preparation for proposals, contracts and construction management
