The company is a major exporter and manufacturer of Spice Oleoresins, Essential Oils, Whole & ground
spices, seasonings, natural colours and flavours (FSSC 22000 certified company).
Duties & Responsibilities
* Responsible for ensuring Product Quality and Food Safety throughout the processes.
* Conducted hazard analysis on food safety
* Functioning as Food Safety Team Leader (FSTL) & Company Representative in statutory, regulatory
& customer audits
* To ensure Food safety systems are effectively implemented in all departments through food safety
internal audits & Statutory audits on company policies, manufacturing process, SOP’s and systems
* To conduct food safety MRM and to take necessary actions for food safety related issues in the company.
* To deliver trainings (on job/induction) to all levels of employees on food safety, GMP/GHP, 5S
systems, ISO standards, internal auditing, fire and safety & its effectiveness evaluation.
* To ensure the product quality is in line with EU and country regulations.
* Responsible for monitoring & verification of CCP’s, OPRP’s, PRP’s through daily plant audits/GMP-
GHP audits
* Responsible for preparation, revision & approval of ISO related documents, SOP’s, food
safety manuals, Hazard assessment, product specifications, Hygiene & cleaning
* Renewal of quality & statutory licenses/certificates (FSSC, FDA, FSSAI, KOSHER, HALAL, Spices
board (CRES) & UN packaging)
* Ensure quality shipping and packing of products by vehicle/container inspections
* To develop, train & supervise the internal audit team
* Responsible for monitoring plant sanitation & pest control programs of the company.
* Handling of customer complaints & feedbacks
* Responsible for external communication & Control of outsourcing QA activities
* To schedule & ensuring activities in the quality plan are carried out.
* Verification of QC test record, Certificate of analysis, safety data sheets & QA related documents.
* Generation of Monthly QA Reports to management
* To provide document support to marketing team.
* Handling and releasing of Finished Products
* Handling of internal and external calibrations of instruments and equipment’s.
Cherthala
The company is mainly focused on manufacturing Bio-chemical and Agri-inputs.
Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Systems:
* Liaison and renewal of all statutory documents and activities
* Monitoring and auditing of products & documentation in different departments to ensure delivery of highquality products & services.
* Monitoring all QC Tests are carried out on time and in full.
* Preparing and analysing the information’s and delivering presentations to Manager Level for the purpose of Management Review.
* Quality Assurance Planning & Scheduling
* Coordinating the investigation of customer complaints.
* Generating system and practices (SOP’s) for all departments (Accounts, Admin, R&D, Housekeeping,
production)
* Quality Control for In-House & Final Products
* Test Record Evaluation & Verification
* Ensure products meet required standards through inspections of raw materials and finished products

* Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational
performance
* Deliver product training to both internal and external customers as needed
* Provide the Product Planning department with market feedback (i.e. pricing, product features,
recommendations)
* Designing and delivering training consultant orientation programs for new team members. Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures
