Installation, commissioning and start-up of GE Heavy duty and Aero-derivative turbines along with generators or compressors.
1.Worked as Deputy Manager in 515 MW combined cycle Power plant of Essar Power Limited.
2.Maintenance of equipments related to Combined Cycle Power Plant (Gas/Steam Turbine, HRSG and utilities like DM Plant).
3.Review of systems and Maintenance of equipment related to Gas Turbine, Combined Cycle Power plants, Steam & feed water systems - lube oil system, cooling tower, air compressor & dryer, DM and softening Water treatment plants, RO and UF Plant, Boiler Feed Water Pumps, Circulating Water Pumps, chemical dosing system, ETP etc.
4.SAP related activities of generating PM, Purchase requisition, keeping record of PM orders through SAP, Material spare management, PTW system, Coordination with Purchase for spare PO Items, Service PR and PO etc.
5.As an Operation control room engineer, I looked after safe & frequent startups, shutdowns & emergency handling of the plant, hydro-testing of boilers for internal as well as IBR inspections, load distribution between the two customers, imparting training to new engineers.
