• Installing and configuring Windows 2000/XP/2003 desktops, MS Office Applications and other software packages.
• Installs, configures, fine tune and maintains computers, networks, file and print servers, and other devices, adds or upgrades disk drives, Memory, CD ROM units, printers, and related equipment.
• Installation and configuration of Sonicwall TZ-215 (Firewall) and Kaspersky 10.0 version.
• Senior level ability to perform complex, detailed design and analytical tasks; ability to organize and implement work assignments independently of direct supervision; ability to effectively communicate, interact and work well with others.
• Configure users, emails, Internet, network devices, print servers, shared resources etc.
• Demonstrates senior level ability to plan and organize work for self and others and to exercise analytical judgment on work to be done in order to meet priorities and needs.
• Experience support network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, VPN.
• Troubleshoot and repair network connectivity, services, software, cabling and performance problems.
• Troubleshoot and repair Time Keeping System software (Virdi AC4000), hardware and connectivity problems.
• Provide basic instruction / guidance to staff in proper operations of installed systems to maximize the efficient and effective use of those systems.
• Assure the timely diagnosis and arranging for the repair of all company owned hardware equipment.
• Troubleshoot and assist in the maintenance of PABX system.
• Troubleshoot and assist in the installation and configuration of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls and other network devices.
• Assist with the installation of new and/or upgraded hardware equipment and software.
• Travelling to company other branches located in Dubai and Abu Dhabi sites to help with installs, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Management of the weekly data backup and retrieval scheme.
•Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2013 and any other authorized desktop applications.
•Troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software.
•Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required in order to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
•Basic support for smart devices like Blackberry, iPhone, Android, iPads, Tablets, etc.
•Provide Call Support for the Customers to Fix the Issue.
•Had been Responsible in monitoring the network performance.
•Handling incoming incidents via the phone / e-mail promptly and effectively.
•Escalating calls and issues where necessary to senior managers & team leaders.
•Advice and train clients regarding networking technology issues.
•Maintained the inventory and the various registrations for the different hardware and software used in the operating systems.
•Provided technical support to set up various equipments in the facility.
•Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, scanner, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
•Analyze system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
•Maintained up-to-date inventory of all desktops, printers & peripheral equipment.
•Monitor, perform and maintain daily/weekly/monthly tape backups.
