Terracotta and Elastic Search: Terracotta is a distributed Big Memory cache, which reduces
the long Garbage collection cycles, using BigMemory or also known as OffHeap. Elastic
Search on the other hand is a scalable and distributed search tool built on top of Lucene. My
role involves architecting the solutions, using tools such as Terracotta and Elastic Search
and any other in house or open source tool that can solve the problem at hand.
Apama: Apama is an event correlator and aggregator. I have built an adapter, which ingests
the huge volume of events coming from BloomBerg market source, processes the events and
sends those across to Apama. The idea is to be able to replay such events at a later point in
time to make sure that unethical trading practices are not taking place.
Solution Architecture for Octo: This was a 3 week assignment based out of Rome, in which I
along with other team members, put the initial building blocks of solution architecture. The
main idea was to detect the accident and its site based on data from GPS positioning system
and take corrective action. We used both Apama and Terracotta in building this solution.
Apama correlates the GPS position events from each vehicle and checks if there is a sudden
spike in the double derivative i.e. acceleration

PxOps: We have revived the product AssistOps and on boarded 2 new clients in a quick
succession.
Assist Chat Platform: We delivered key features in Assist Chat Platform. Single Sign On
related security enhancements, Typing Notification through collaboration messaging
channel are to name a few. Chat platform is built, leveraging XMPP protocol based Openfire
server.
Big Data Platform: To process humungous amount of event log files getting generated out
of Assist Chat Platform and transform that raw data to help the consumers such as Data
Analytics team and business folks in making some sense out of it, we used Hadoop
technology. We used apache hive and pig to process, aggregate the raw data and back stich
the events which may come later
