Job responsibilities includes:-
Receive all the scheduled and unscheduled samples and log them accordingly in LIMS.
Assign the shift work to the entire technician in the team and to self and ensure that all analysis requirements are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner following the standard approved methods listed in the analysis schedule.
Guide the technicians through any difficulties in analysis of routine and non routine samples.
Review all the results entered in LIMS by the shift technicians and approve the results in LIMS for distribution.
Ensure the housekeeping procedure and safety precautions are adhered to by all in the laboratory.
Prepare and distribute the shift turnover report and handover the charge of the shift laboratory to the incoming shift leader in a well organized manner.
In the absence of the respective senior chemist, will take on the roll of acting senior chemist under the supervision of the head of laboratory.
Undertake training for Qatari Nationals.
Carry out specialized analysis requirements in the laboratory which are not covered under the scope of work of the shift.
Ensure that all the equipments are working and carry out Calibration and Verification on the equipments as per the schedule.
In the case of final product certification will undertake the sampling and analysis requirements.
In case of manpower shortage will undertake to supplement the shift manpower and carry out the entire shift requirement
Job responsibilities includes:-
Prepare and maintain several reports including routine and non routine test reports, external samples etc.
Preparing and issuing quality certificates for finished products and raw materials. Analysis of intermediate products like Gas oil, Aviation fuel, fuel oil, reformat, Gasoline samples, kerosene, Naphtha and different types of distillates (NF condensate & CAP condensate)
Analysis of crude oil & petroleum fractions as per ASTM/ UOP & IP methods.
Analysis of condensate ((NF condensate & CAP condensate) as per ASTM/ UOP/ IP methods
Analysis of Refinery Correlation Program Samples from ASTM & GCC
Calibration and verification of Laboratory equipments and maintain the calibration and verification records.
Inventory on chemicals, glass wares and other laboratory consumables.
Result entry and approval of results in LIMS
Analysis of finish products and export samples.
Tank sampling of final products from shore tank.
Blending of petroleum products
Prepare and Standardize Normality reagent and Standard solution.
Scale samples and many other samples of non routine nature.
Water /Waste water analysis
Air pollution monitoring / fuel gas analysis
Prepare and standardization of standard solutions and reagents for laboratory
Carbon blasting and calibration of CFR engine
Preparation of toluene standard fuels and standard reference fuel blends as per the requirement
Determination of composition on condensate samples
Composition of Analysis of various Refinery Gases
Determination of moisture content in gases
Determination of trace level of Olefins in various hydrocarbons
Determination in composition of LPG and other hydrocarbon
Determination of OIL content by IR spectroscopy
Job responsibilities includes:-
Analysis of finished products, such as LPG, Naphtha (LAN & HAN), Motor Gasoline, High speed diesel oil, fuel oil, LSHS, LDO, Kerosene, Toluene, Benzene, Asphalt, petroleum hydrocarbon solvent, Mineral Turpentine oil, Aviation Turbine Fuel, JP5, LSHFD, Sculpture, Rubberized bitumen .
