• Overseeing the complete pharmaceutical/medical supply chain in Jordan & emergency program
• Preparing proactive supply chain strategies for all projects
• Establish Supply Chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
• Review and update Supply Chain practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations and laws.
• Design, planning, execution and monitoring of supply chain activities; it includes procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, distribution plan, property and asset management & vehicle and fleet management.
• Collaboration with the relevant staff (program & operation) to develop and implement M&E strategies, tools, and plans
• Maintains supplier database and files with full information.
• Establishing several warehouses in Jordan, upgrading/modifying & operate .
• Primarily responsible for the overall management of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies & equipment in Jordan mission
• Prepare proactive supply chain strategies for all projects
• Manage & follow up the pharmaceutical Supply Chain for all the projects.
• Establish Supply Chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
• Review and update Supply Chain practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations and laws.
• Prepare, review & submit all the proposal & quantification regarding to the medical commodities
• A technical leader on compliance with selection, quantification, procurement, quality, warehouse and health facilities’ stock management
• Closely monitoring, supervise & supporting the pharmacy Supervisors, warehouse supervisors, Clinical Pharmacist & logistic staff in five medical warehouses and stores, three main Hospitals, 4 comprehensive PHC, 16 MH clinic at all Jordanian governorate
• Support the pharmaceutical supply chain to Syria as Emergency Response Plan (ERP) through our emergency program “cross-border”
• Participate in creating & developing an ERP & Pharmacy Information Management software; “exclusively” made based on IMC requirements & needs.
• Lead the Medical Supply Chain for UNHCR IPs (JHAS, AMR & Caritas) & UNFPA IRs (IRC)
• Submit the monthly/annual reports to the Senior Managment Team (SMT)
• Serving as IMC’s pharmaceutical focal person in front of the country authority (MOH & JFDA) and Donors (UNHCR, UNFPA, UNICEF, ECHO, DFID, BPRM & others); responsible to ensure that IMC pharmaceutical system is in line with the IMC and donors pharmacy manual.
• Responsible for pre-qualification assessment of pharmaceutical, medical supplies & equipment vendors and initiating procurements for the field, analyzing the bid and selection of suppliers qualifying for needed pharmaceuticals
• Ensure the implementation of Jordan MOH clinical policies, tools, guidelines and the donors pharmacy manual for rational use of medications.
• Ensuring spot checks, monthly full inventory & biannual to the IMC pharmacies, stores & warehouses
• Conducting audit & inspection visits to the facilities & warehouses
• Compile and develop training and orientation materials and guides for Pharmacy & Logistic staff related to pharmacy management guideline & PSCM.
• Prepared a SOPs regarding to the Country Medical Supply Chain Management
• Work in collaboration with the relevant Health and MEAL staff to develop and implement M&E strategies, tools, and plans for monitoring of partner pharmaceutical management
• Manage, monitoring and analysis of medical commodity data including consumption rates, rational use, stock outs, and planning for re-orders
Facilitate process development initiatives to achieve business goals.
Identify opportunities for improved operational performance at the organizational level.
Conduct business operational assessments and deliver recommendations for improvements.

Duties entail monitoring, quality checking, coaching, problem solving, & handling of concerns as well as ensuring smooth operation of all pharmacy functions.
