Quality control inspector for electrical, CP and instrumentation.
to make sure that all ongoing activities are as per client standard and specification.Guide construction to meet the client requirements and standards.MRI, RFI with client PID.
checking and ensuring quality assurance and quality control work.To make sure that the ongoing activities are as per client requirements and standards.Inspection with client Inspector after completion of work.
•Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
•Inspect the production quality to establish if the client requirements are being achieved.
•Record and document any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
•Involved in each electrical activities to ensure Quality work and arrange Client Inspection Personal on completion of the following activities as per Standard.
Planning, Organizing providing leadership and controlling all administrative functions as follows
•Monitoring everyday project progress and preparing the reports to submit to Department lead.
•Determine that the correct job tools, equipment, safety gear and materials are available based on the jobsite requirements.
•Assist the Lead Technician in arranging materials & tools for major job commitments.
•Assist Lead Technician in providing information to revise drawings and technical document.
•During loop test to confirm the continuity of cables, simulated the process variable with hand held communicator or from DCS in manual mode for HART, Parameterization of instrument with Hart communicator sequence test and logic test.
•To monitor the function of instruments Confirmation availability of inputs alarms & switches on DCS coming from field against Alarm & Trip Set-point List.
•Inspect the production quality to establish if the client requirements are being achieved..
•Record and document any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS)
•Configuration, Installation, calibration and loop checking of the field instruments (Emerson, Rosemount, ABB, Enders & Hauser, Honeywell)
•Maintenance and calibration of the control valves
•Review of control philosophy, P&I diagrams, instruments list and flow chart.
•Troubleshooting of Instruments, communication between field and the control room.
•Technical Support for the instrumentation team.
•Responsible for the monitoring of installation, regarding to instrumentation, in accordance to the pre-scheduled drawing
•Loop check and function testing from DCS panel and field mounted Instrumentation equipment.
•Punch list clearance of all instruments.
•Capable of conducting continuity and Megger testing.
•Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
•Inspect the production quality to establish if the client requirements are being achieved.
•Record and document any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS)..
•Inspection of all electrical grounding system.
•Monitoring the underground installation, check the required burial depth and spacing requirement to adjacent installation, prior to backfilling.
•Earth resistance test of the grounding system as per Standards.
•Witness of power cables & control cables installation and termination.
•Review the Method of Statements for all electrical works.
•Installation of all electrical related equipment's and their accessories as per IFC drawings & client requirements.
•Witness of installation of conduits, cable trays, cables laying, cable splicing, cable termination, transformers, motors, switch gear, mcc, control panels, control cables, bus duct, duct banks, earthling cables, lightening systems, fire alarm, fire brigade equipment's etc.,
•Verification of materials supplied with that of material submittal.
•Monitoring everyday project progress and preparing the reports to submit to the superior.
•Responsible for all Quality Control activities for the allotted area of discipline.
•Site surveillance to check the construction work and give comments if necessary according to standard.
•Conduct field inspection with client and owner representative as per ITP (inspection test plan).
•Conduct internal inspection among all activities and record inspection findings in the field.
•To prepare request for inspection for client inspection for completed activities..
•Reporting both verbally and in writing any non-conformance discovered.
•Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for non-compliance activities against the Approved quality plans, inspection test plans, relevant to client.
•Ensuring the installation per approved drawings & specification.
•Responsible in preparing field inspection notification package and conduct site inspection with client inspector
•Verification of completeness and correction of inspection reports.
•Review turn over packages on documents from construction and startup/commissioning department.
•Verified/Checked on site if the installation layout on construction is based on project technical specification and standard practice of work.
•Preparation of documents and drawing, material inspection, witness calibration of various electronic/pneumatic instruments and verify against specification and data sheet. .
•Reporting both verbally and in writing any non-conformance discovered.
•Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for non-compliance activities against the Approved quality plans, inspection test plans, relevant to client.
•Ensuring the installation per approved drawings & specification.
•Checked and review QA/QC documentation.
•Generate surveillance and non-conference report for difficult works, copies to construction Manager /Quality Manager.
•Review inspection test plan, Method of statement and quality notification documents.
•Responsible in preparing field inspection notification package and conduct site inspection with client inspector
•Coordinate and prepare various documents such as test, Inspection reports, Safety approval prior to implement of work
•Verification of completeness and correction of inspection reports.
