Duties included:
Supervise and carryout planned, breakdown and unscheduled maintenance of machine in well-organized manner with the aim of reducing breakdown losses as far as possible
Modification of the machines as per requirement
Troubleshoot through PLC program of Siemens S7 300 and 400 family ( Ladder, FBD and STL)
Calibration of Load cell and other instruments.
Dealing with Siemens AC drive ( Simovert and Sinamics) issues regarding repairing and parameterization
Have hand on experience of LT switch gears
Change over of generator supply in case of power failure
Make necessary changes/ amendments in planned maintenance with the consent of superiors to suit the current shift needs and recourses available
Keep Operations Department and own department superiors updated on the progress of various maintenance activities
Update and record maintenance activities and daily breakdown reports in the Shift Logbook
Identify and recommend training needs
Ensure compliance and implement:
a) QHS&E Rules and Regulations
b) Hazard and Risk Management
c) Accident Reports
d) QICT’s Standard Operating Procedures

Overseeing all terminal equipment maintenance and repair activities related to Quay Cranes and RTG.
In-charging the terminal equipment emergency breakdown maintenance operation including trouble shooting and fault diagnosis.
Supervising any terminal equipment modification/enhancement or new projects on-site activities including testing and commissioning works.
Set up and ensure procedures and contingency plans are in place and comply with statutory requirements.

• Trouble shooting the faults in minimum time interval for smooth process.
• Maintain records in log sheet and shift report on Electrical Jobs, delays and Assign to Appropriate Personnel.
• Manages directly and provide technical supports to all electrical related works to other agencies.
• Responsible in handling electrical problems or electrical engineering issues in field or work site.
• Estimates prepare and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables equipment, tools, etc. required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
• Preventive maintenance during process and modification where needed during shutdown for smooth process of plant.
• Modifications to reduce electrical delays and due to fault.
• Calibration of equipment and instrument as required by operation team.
• Troubleshoot the faults with the Siemens Simatic S7-300 -PLC hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot the fault by the schematic diagrams of electrical, relay, signaling and protection.
