Duties and responsibilities.
• Working as Supervision consultant Mechanical engineer.
• Performing work inspections for Fire Fighting, HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Irrigation works
• Reviewing HVAC, FF, Drainage design drawings& Shop drawings according to local regulations and relevant codes.
• Reviewing of Shop drawings, Technical Submittals, material submittal and Invoices, as per project specifications and relevant codes and standards.
• Attending meeting with clients, contractors, experienced in reviewing and replying all project related documents (Work inspections, Information queries, Tender evaluation, Costing evaluation, project close out, etc)
• Experienced in Design of FF, MV and Plumbing projects & Submission for authority approvals like QCDD, Ashghal, Kahramaa.
• Familiar with calculations for Stair well pressurization, ESP calculation, Pump Head calculation, Hydraulic calculation for Sprinkler, HAP calculation, etc.
• Experience in BMS System, FM 200, Kitchen hood suppression, Foam system, Swimming pool, LPG system etc.

• Cost Estimation and Execution of MEP projects.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Planning, Execution & coordination of Plumbing, Drainage, HVAC & Steel structural works.
• Preparing monthly Planning and daily plan according to the master plan.
• Progress monitoring by preparing Progress charts and tables against the Production plan.
• Work delegation among junior supervisors.
• Daily monitoring of production achievement against plan.
• Witness for QC inspection.
• Preparing documents for QC and inspection.
Activities

• Got lectures on Dry docks, dredging, cranes, oil skimming, various mechanical processes.
• Visited all the areas including dry dock, dredger, oil skimmer etc.
• Got a chance to study about Adhesive -abrasive oil skimming which was a project done in Cochin Port Trust.
Main Project: Main Project: • Design and Analysis of Floating Dry Dock Organization : COCHIN PORT TRUST, Govt. Of India Description : A floating dry-dock is a channel shaped structure constructed with ferro-cement devised by its controlled buoyancy to lift marine craft out of water for inspection, repair and maintenance work. The design has been developed and analyzed. Mini Project • Thermo electric coolers Team Size : 4 Description : This device is based on the principle of Peltier effect. When current is passed through a thermocouple, a heating effect is produced at one junction while a cooling effect in the other. Here we use a thermo electric module, its heat generating junction is fabricated to make a cooling effect. Seminar : • Valvetronic engine technology. Description : Valvetronic engine technology has been introduced by BMW to reduce fuel consumption by burning fuel efficiently and thereby lowering CO2 emissions.
Higher studies after matriculation. 2 year full time course done in science.
