EVENT MANAGEMENT
• Major part of my job was to organize and manage events and promotional activities aimed at reinforcing our brand presence. All the way from our stand build up to each and every banner and poster and POS material placement throughout the venue.
• Training promoters and staff prior to our promotions and events.
• Manage the production of marketing POS materials and ensure proper coordination between all the teams for the events.
• Ensuring that we get the best branding spots throughout the venue.
• Negotiating with advertising agencies and suppliers for exhibitions, sponsorship for events, etc.
• Getting into Barter deals with Event Companies to cut down on costing.
Below are the some of the major events that were wholly managed by me, to name a few,
- Gulfood Exhibition 2013 and 2012
- South Indian International Movie Awards 2013
- Dubai Duty Free Cigarette promotion campaign 2013
- Taste of Dubai 2013 and 2012
- Celebrity Cricket League 2012
- International Coffee and Tea Festival 2012
- Music Concerts (50 Cents, Snoop Dog, Chris Brown) - 2011

BRAND MANAGEMENT
• Duties involved conducting regular visits to keep ourselves up to date with the competitor activities.
• Carry out market research to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness. Extensive market research was done to set prices (for Tissue product) and special offers (Alokozay Tea)
• Monitoring our own social media as well as keeping an eye on the competitors activity on social platforms.
• Performing all the other marketing activities that would eventually assist our end goal - to increase our sales and reputation in the industry.

• Primary role is to manage and monitor the container movements across the world
• Involves liaising with Port authorities and shipping agencies worldwide - mainly around the Gulf, African and Far-East Asian region

• Working out the best possible route for a shipment in terms of time and cost.
• Rigorous and constant follow-up with partner agencies, vessels and port authorities round the clock.
• Liaising with partners to negotiate the best rates for slots.
