Manage and prepare pre-qualification and materials submittal, proposed for permanent installation on the site.
● Coordination with purchase for quotation provided by vendor/supplier for DEWA approved materials
● Arrange trial mix as per the approved design mix for the Concrete main supplier and alternate supplier
● Preparing Method statement for every work activities at site for permanent material installation.
● Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
● Submitting MIR for all approved materials delivered at site
● Prepare (RFI) request for inspection for work activities and material inspection as per the ITP.
● Ensure that all works done as per consultant/client instruction according to RFI submittal
● Monitor quality control inspection in different stages of the concrete pouring.
● Counter checking all concrete records during and after placement and submit pour card record to consultant.
● Maintaining concrete cube registry, testing & results.
● Coordinate with Testing Laboratories for complying with the required tests according to Specification.
● Monitoring of inspection and maintaining an updated inspection and test status.
● Identifying nonconforming works and materials in the course of their inspection activities.
● Investigate causes for non-conformance and proposed preventive and corrective actions.
● Prepare Method Statements for any activity at site.
● Monitor quality for material applicator, material approval, material expiry, material testing and application.
