Under the Middle East and North Africa Regional Corporate Services Hub based at the British Embassy Abu Dhabi, I manage recruitment campaigns for local staff vacancies for a number of our Embassies and Consulates across the MENA region. I also provide recruitment support and advice to other UK government departments that sit within the Embassy/ Consulate.
Under the Asia Pacific Regional Corporate Services Hub based at the British Embassy Manila, I managed recruitment campaigns for local staff vacancies for Embassies, High Commissions, and Consulates across Asia Pacific, notably for China, Australia, Singapore, and Fiji. I also provided recruitment support and advice to other UK government departments that sit within the Embassy/ High Commission/ Consulate. Applicant backgrounds covers marketing, trade and investment, project management, office administration, and policy-related work, among others.
I managed the entire recruitment process for both head office-based and branch-based personnel. Applicant backgrounds ranged from advertising, medicine, nutrition, industrial engineering, IT, and skilled/ technical work. I also coordinated in-house training programs, from handling pre-event logistics up to post-activity reviews and reporting.
As the sole person in charge of recruitment, I handled all vacancies for head office-based positions. Applicant backgrounds ranged from skilled/ technical work, advertising, statistics, and customer service.
As part of the accounts management team, I was in charge of both quantitative and qualitative market research studies. I directly liaised with clients and was involved in overall project management and coordination.
