Responsibility:
- Head of Beginning Reading Program.
- Responsible for daily lesson plan creation, materials preparation and testing for all students & staff.
- Reported to Director of Education.
- Taught students age 4 - 15 in both English and Arabic.
- Focus on Reading comp, Vocabulary expression, writing skills, Phonics and sight Vocabulary.
- Academic Liaison between Al-Ba7ith and multiple international Schools (IKNS, BSB) regarding students progress and positive performance changes.
- Gifted and Talented coordinator, worked with the Ministry of Education.
- Responsible of Students with special needs age 12 - 18.
- Reported to Head of Guidance Department and Head of Middle & High School.
- Test and diagnosis students with Learning Difficulties.
- Head of Special needs exam committee for middle & high school students with learning Difficulties.
- Assessing children who have long or short-term learning difficulties and working with colleagues to identify individual students' special needs
- Attended professional development courses. E.g. “ Special Education Needs: Personalized Learning & Engaging the disengaging
- Reported to Head of School and director of Education.
- Testing and diagnosing students with Learning Difficulties.
- Collaborating with the classroom teacher to define appropriate activities for the students in relation to the curriculum.
- Liaising with other professionals, such as social workers, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and educational psychologists.
- Experienced with childhood early intervention programs.
- Taught students age 4 - 8 in both English and Arabic. ( Special needs students).
