Direct reporting to the CFO / CEO Manager Accounts & Finance
Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including statement of profit or Loss, statement of financial position, and cash flow statements for management reporting and statutory compliances.
• Managed the closing of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities for financial audits and inspections.
• Produced monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeted financial statements, comparing them with actual results and providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare ans submit MIS reports on monthly, quarterly and annual basis to the management.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead and supervise a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance and best practices.
Acquired extensive practical expertise and in-depth knowledge in accountancy, audit & assurance, management consultancy, operational system design, and spreadsheet modelling. Successfully executed a wide range of responsibilities, including conducting statutory audits and external engagements for numerous listed, unlisted, and private companies. Performed comprehensive analytical reviews and examinations of financial statements, accounting records, and financial reports. Assessed their accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting standards. Established and upheld strong controls to efficiently oversee, obtain, divest, and protect fixed assets, guaranteeing precision and responsibility. Collaborated with the Quality Control and Review (QCR) team to review assurance engagements that were already completed, ensuring compliance with standards.
