NEOM SINDALAH ISLAND-BREAKWATER
Project details
The project is a steel platform that serves as a supply road to transport the building materials needed for the SINDALAH Island project, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It also works as a floating breakwater to disperse the energy of waves coming from the Red Sea so that it does not affect tourism activity.
The structural system of the platform is a steel structure represented by metal pipes connected to a group of intersecting steel beams and connected through special connections designed specifically for this unique project.
Office scope in the project:
• Redesign the platform
• Design of the connections
• Quality control and supervising
Leading the designing review team, shop drawing team, and team as the contractor’s technical manager
