HSE Manager will facilitate the ongoing development of health and safety policies and practices to make sure all staff are adhering to these standards. You will also provide advice, support and guidance at a Manager level on all matters of legal compliance regarding Health and Safety Management.
Achieved 5 million man hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) on the project and successfully implemented HSE policies, as a result, decreased work-related risks by 10%.

 Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
 Conduct Comprehensive Hazard Identification & Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
 Conducting Incident Investigations to identify the Root Cause of the incident and proposing suitable corrective measure to the Management to avoid reoccurrence.

• Maintain and help control daily HSE practices through regular checks of work sites, ensure that hazards are identified, precautionary measures are implemented and relevant HSE advice provided
• Ensure that project Health, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures are communicated to and regularly reinforced with site personnel
• Promote safe working systems and procedures and monitor the proper application of the "Permit to Work" system, SIMOPS and associated Job Safety Analysis, as well as another approved project
• HSE and contractor related policies, plans, procedures and guidelines
• Review and provide comments regarding contractor developed HSE plans and procedures
• Coordinate and participate in the provision of HSE awareness in accordance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 specifications Prepare programs and arrange participation training sessions in conjunction with line management

• Promote, support and participate in HSE Observation Card (HSEOC) program
• Prepare and maintain statistical records of project site HSE performance (eg, work-hours, leading and lagging indicators, etc) and communicate regularly with project HSE Advisor and the Abu Dhabi based project HSE Engineers and the project Safety Analyst
• Conduct frequent audits and inspections to ensure the effectiveness of HSE programs on critical operations/equipment and procedures at assigned location; present recommendations for improvement and follow-up their implementation

• Review the HSE Plans & Method Statement of the Event Contractors to ensure that all events abide by the HSE Regulations and Provide safety advice for the events held in the BK premises
• Organize Emergency Evacuation Drills to evaluate the Current Emergency Preparedness and response Plan.
• To conduct inspection and enforce on safe work measures for fit-out works / maintenance work, check the condition of all protective facilities and equipment in the Tower.
• Audit the HSE Performance of the Service Providers
• Assist the HSE Manager in the Development, Implementation and updating of the HSE Programs and Plans of BURJ KHALIFA (BK) in accordance with the International Standards OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004
• Conduct Comprehensive Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment and develop or improve current BK HSE Arrangements by providing Risk Management Plans as per ISO 31000:2009.
• Familiar with safety risk analysis technique such as, but not limited to, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FEMA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and being able to analyze the systems to find what faults can occur, and then propose safety requirements.
• Participate in the design review and the development of the criteria for evaluation of the System & Associated Components
• Conducting Incident Investigations to identify the Root Cause of the incident, and proposing suitable corrective measure to the Management to avoid reoccurrence.
• Provide HSE Review of the contractors submittals, ensuring that all risk associated with the Construction, Maintenance & Renovation of the Existing apartments & units shall be done within the predefined acceptable risk level and in accordance to the HSE Procedure & Process of BK and local regulation of Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil defense and international code of practices.
• Track the Status of all HSE non conformances with the HSE Management system to ensure the implementation of suitable corrective and preventive measures.
• Provide HSE Review of the contractors submittals, ensuring that all risk associated with the Construction, Maintenance & Renovation of the Existing apartments & units shall be done within the predefined acceptable risk level and in accordance to the HSE Procedure & Process of BK and local regulation of Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil defense and international code of practices.
• Participate in the final check out of new installations & system modifications and ensure that adequate training has been conducted for the new system.
• Ensure that the System in place abides by the UAE Legal Regulations and the Industry Best Practices. This includes Testing and Certification Requirements and Operator Competency Requirements.
• Provides Risk Management Plan that will anticipate Component Failure Related Risk that could adversely affect the Employees, Tenants, and Guest of Burj Khalifa.
• Identify all HSE Legal Requirements and Other HSE Requirements that are applicable to the high rise building, hotels, restaurants & night clubs and ensure that these are met.
• Evaluate the Potential Emergencies and Crisis that could occur in BURJ KHALIFA (BK) and develop an emergency preparedness and response plan for each possible scenario.
• Assist the HSE manager in liaising with Government Bodies on HSE matters.
