High voltage test on various GIS makes and rating off 66kV, 110 kV, 220kV, 400kV GIS Substations for SIEMENS, GE, ABB, CGL, TBEA, SIEYUAN ELECTRIC, Hyosung, Xian Electric etc
Partial Discharge Measurement & Analysis of GIS using UHF Detection Principal & Acoustic Detection.
Onsite Testing of switchgears like GIS, Cables, Switchgears, Transformers, Generators, etc.
Installation, Commissioning & Testing of Impulse Voltage Generator, AC Resonant Test Systems & various switchgear Testing Equipment’s.
Coordinating with clients regarding the testing standards/method strategy as per their requirement.
Ensuring the electrical testing equipment’s quoted are within the stipulated deadline and meets customer’s requirements & technical standards.
Proficient in various high voltage test equipment, relevant standards, and SF6 Gas handling equipment.
In depth knowledge in Switchgear equipment’s, Gas Activity, Substation activity and Installation & Commissioning of GIS.
Quoting tools and testing equipment required for various substation and lab facilities as per their requirement and technical specification.
Design, development, verification, testing and validation of instrument transformers such as CT, PT up to 33 kV. Preparation of technical documents / instructions such as core selection, dimension, turns ratio and gauge selection.
Evaluation of drawings and designs as per the customer’s requirements.
Project planning and coordinating with customers for product approval & technical clearances.
Preparing the bill of Material (BOM) and order execution as per the customer’s requirement.
Providing technical support to testing and production team
Maintenance of master data.
Documentation and ISO audits.
Planning, commissioning and maintenance of Solar power plants.
Production and Quality check on LED lights.
Coordinating with the traders and inspection of goods.
Exposed to Electromagnetic field computation and modeling, Finite Element Analysis, High Voltage testing techniques, testing on high voltage equipments, Insulation technology, Insulation design on high voltage power apparatus,
Exposed to basic electric, civil and mechanical, Electromagnetic theory, Circuit theory, Digital and Analog circuits, Electrical machines, Signals and Systems, High Voltage engineering, Power system analysis, Power electronics, Embedded systems, power system operation and controls, Protection and switchgear , FACTS, Micro controller and Micro processor
