Since April 2010 till present, I'm working with Obeikan Education Ltd. (OE)
OE in brief: OE is a leading company in the education services, syllabus
development and interactive applications in the gulf region and Arab world.
OE is the main company in the GCC taking charge of pre-school, K 12 and higher education development
OE has the capabilities, expertise, products and services which can meet the customers' needs in the education sector.
OE is one of Obeikan Investment Group (OIG) in Saudi Arabia; the OIG has 14 other companies under its umbrella.
My current Position is Deputy Publishing Manager
Job Responsibilities:
• Set the publishing plan
• Supervise the publishing project manager
• Set and monitor the annual budget & the quarterly sales & cost forecast
• Set the annual sales plan in cooperation with the sales manager
• Planning to attract new Authors and customers
• Negotiate with international publishers and copyright agencies to buy the Arabic copyrights
• Working closely with the Publishing Manager to achieve the department and whole OE strategic objectives as well.
• Following-up both sales and marketing plans
• Responsibility of the Digital publishing objectives
• A member of Quality Management System & Obeikan Education internal auditing team
• Following up the order fulfillment processes
• Preparing business cases for the new opportunities
• Setting KPIs for the department's team and monitor the overall performance.
