Duties and responsibilities:
• Preside SHE meeting in maintenance division and reporting to General Manager.
• Ensure new hire and new comer employee given orientation on company policies, safety orientation. To ensure that they are competent before they start the task.
• Conduct two (2) days work permit training and fire watch man/ standby man training for all contractors in Kemya.
• Conduct training to employees such as fire protection, incident reporting and job hazard analysis.
• Designate site safety officer on site and assigned to their area of responsibility to ensure the safety standard has been followed and correct unsafe acts and condition in work place.
• Conduct safety inspection and safety audits regularly to correct unsafe act and unsafe condition at work site.
• Conduct safety meetings on weekly basis and assigned maintenance supervisor to present safety topic base on kemya safety standard procedure.
• Record all incidents occur during construction/maintenance and conduct precautionary measure to prevent re occurrence.
• Preside SHE meeting and reporting to Sr. Manager of maintenance department.
• Conduct investigation in near miss and incident to identify the root cause, direct cause and decide on preventive corrective action base on the safe work procedure.

Project: Diesel tank (658 cubic meter)
Position: Safety supervisor/tank supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure new hire and new-comers employees given safety orientation and all employees are trained before they start the tasks.
• Conduct training to employees such as fire protection, incident reporting and job safety analysis.
• Designate the safety officer and assigned to their area of responsibility to ensure the safety standard and correct unsafe works.
• Records all incidents, such as fire, near miss, accidents, injuries and conduct precautionary measures to prevent re occurrence.
• Conduct hazard prevention and control training to employees.
• Conduct safety inspection and safety audits regularly in site.
• Provide safety meetings on weekly basis and require all employee attendance.
Other Duties and responsibilities: (Tank Construction)
• Assigned competent person and supervise the work during the construction of tank foundation.
• Supervise the work during tank erection construction to make sure that the procedure has been followed.
• Outlining regular safe operational procedures are being properly implemented.
• Supervise the crane lifting and assigned competent personnel during tank erection.
• Record daily, weekly progress report.
• Ensure equipment, machinery, and hand tools are in good condition.

Duties and Responsibilities: • Guide the management to follow the safety procedure carried out on site.
• To insure the safety practices of workers and employees involve construction.
• Conduct records of work site daily inspection, walk through inspection and correct unsafe methods of condition.
• Keep records of injuries, loss time injuries and incidents during construction.
• Conduct safety awareness program, safety tool box talk before work start.
• Conduct fire protection training to staff and workers.
• Identifies unsafe work practice and advice corrective measures.
Other duties and responsibilities: (Mechanical works)
• Supervise the work in mechanical during construction.
• Conduct daily activity and work progress report.
• Planning of work that might affect and reduce the plant operation

Position: Safety Officer
Duties and Responsibilities: • Carry out risks assessments and how risks could be reduced.
• Inspect the work site daily and correct unsafe method and condition.
• Guide the sub contractor to follow the safety management system.
• Ensure the compliance of safety and safety practices by workers and employees involved in the construction and maintenance of the plant.
• Familiar with the relevant and health legislation which affects the types of construction work being carried out.
• Identify hazards and assess risks on construction sites.
• Keep a record of every weekly safety meeting on site complete with subject discussed and a list of attendees.
• Keep a record on all injuries, fires, motor vehicles accidents, property damage, crane and heavy equipment accidents, which have occurred on the site.
• Preparing health and safety strategies and developing safety internal policies.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management from time to time
ADVISE THE MANAGEMENT ON THE FOLLOWING
• Ensure the compliance of safety and safety practices by workers and employees involved in the construction and maintenance of the plant.
• Familiar with the relevant and health legislation which affects the types of construction work being carried out.
• Identify hazards and assess risks on construction sites.
• Organized educational activities for safety officers/engineers as well as for the supervisors in all departments.
• Develops, communicates and implements a cost-effective, strategic safety program.
• Ensure that the company has, at all times, the capability and resources to operate safely.
• Ways to prevent injuries to personnel, damage to plant or equipment.
• Ways to improve existing work methods.
• Potential work hazard on site before work start. And fire precaution required.
• Secured and renewed specific permits for plants and other specific works such as lifting permit, hot work permit, lock out/tag out permit, confined spaced entry permit and other work permit related.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Tank Erection)
• Conduct toolbox talk before erection start to make sure that all competent person involve in erection know their respective role and safety procedure.
• Inspection of rigging equipment prior to lifting.
• Conduct regular inspection on heavy equipment.
• Conduct job safety analysis/ job hazard analysis in their work and list down all unsafe method of condition and advise preventive measure.
• All unsafe condition that has been recorded on the day should be the topic of tool box talk the next day to prevent reoccurrence.
