Reporting to: GM & MD
• Maintaining and developing financial policies and strategies to support the companys growth objectives and drive revenue
enhancement, while overseeing daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting
• Preparing and managing annual budgets and periodic forecasts (OPEX and CAPEX), conducting detailed variance analysis to
support senior management decision-making and cost control
• Preparing & managing accurate cash flow daily to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and short-term debt obligations
• Handling month-end, year-end closing across AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, etc.,
and preparing monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Reduced month-end closing timelines
by 50%, through process improvements & controls
• Managing banking operations, including corporate accounts, multi-currency transactions, credit facilities, trade finance activities
(LCs, BGs), renewals & new facility arrangements as per project requirements
• Partnering with the supply Chain team and attending weekly stakeholders meetings with the management to analyze vendor
contracts, initiate timely customer invoicing, and re-negotiate high-value payment terms to optimize working capital
• Reviewing and approving all corporate sales orders and purchase orders across Sales, Procurement, Logistics, HR and Admin to
ensure absolute budget control and optimize expenses
• Preparing & filling Quarterly VAT Returns to FTA and coordinating with external auditors for corporate tax and financial audits.
Accomplishments: -
• Built strong banking partnerships from the ground up, successfully securing credit facilities and negotiating increased vendor
credit limits to support business expansion. Achieved favorable terms, including the lowest interest rates, by leveraging increased
transaction volumes and strong financial performance
• Cleared outstanding Book of Accounts and completed pending financial audits for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021
• Streamlined accounts receivable processes and significantly mitigated payment risks across ongoing projects by improving credit
control and collection efficiency.
• Provided standard financial insights and performance analysis that enabled the company to achieve improved profitability,
successfully surpassing previous periods. Effectively controlled and optimized operational overheads, enhancing cost efficiency
and aligning profit margins with company objectives.
• Successfully led the implementation of SAP Business One—from chart of accounts setup to system Go-Live, ensuring seamless
financial operations and reporting.
