Ensure NEBOSH & OSHA standards and act accordingly. Implement, monitor and, or comply with the HSE management system, including but not limited to HSE policies, standard operating procedures, PTW, method statements, risk assessments / work instructions and associated system tools in jobs. Support the team in hazard identification exercises and risk assessment based on OSHA requirements. Facilitate and participate in regular safety audits and inspections. Site visits and ensure the activities are being performed based on HSE plan and RAMS. Participates in regular HSE meetings with the contractors and related interested parties with the view to discussing HSE concerns and actions common to all
Analyze daily JSA, PTW, PPE, and all weekly and monthly reports, data, graphics and observations. Collect, validate and respond to HSE official data. Ensure compliance to HSE legislations. To review, and revise when required, documents in support of the HSE Management System. Ensure close collaboration with our customers and other stakeholders on HSE matters. Support and advise the operators on HSE matters. Ensure that Emergency Response Plans are established and maintained. Ensure that emergency drills are performed according to our management system. Continuously review the company Safe Systems of Work in order to deliver improvement. Provide coaching to personnel to raise HSE awareness and improve the HSE culture. Conduct contractor reviews as required. Carry out site inspections, audits and port QA/HSE inspections and act under its responsibility.
Reports to Site HSE Superintendent/Manager Jointly develop in conjunction with the Client, strategies, policies and guidance to manage the health and safety issues arising from the construction activities Review Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis, and Risk Assessments and conduct on-site inspection of the activity area. Arrange for periodic safety audits and inspections ensuring that plant, equipment, working environment and systems are in compliance with statutory requirements and local Health and Safety Standards. Audits were done by spot checks and follow up to prevent prosecution Safety induction to new employees Carry out surveys / patrols to see that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observed, and the welfare facilities are adequate and properly maintained Implement the safety procedures, tool box talks on confined spaces, fall protection & prevention, inspection of excavations, hazardous condition. Monitors on scaffolding erection/dismantling work Stop the job whenever unsafe acts or conditions are noted or in the absence of the required safe work permits / safe work plans. Responsible for monitoring the fire watchers assigned to different areas of the production platform where hot work activities are conducted. Investigate any incident that may occur at work site
