• Managing day-to-day operations of Microsoft services like IIS, AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange.

• Managing the servers on cloud environments like AWS and Azure and managing user’s permission level on GCP cloud.
• Administration of disaster recovery process on AWS and Azure cloud.
• Server patching using SCCM and WSUS and patching the Production servers on AWS using terraform.
• Administration of monitoring systems like Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog, EventLogAnalyzer and Tenable.
• Administration of Symantec Endpoint Protection and Postfix mail servers.
• Maintaining PCI compliance to pass the audit.
• Server migration from in-house data center to Azure cloud using ARM templates.
I have been working here as a Solutions Architecture-Infrastructure since last January where I need to design the IT infrastructure as well as lead the IT support team. My daily task are as below-
• Lynux server administration on different Linux platforms (Redhat, Centos, Debian and Ubuntu.
• Administration of the In-house VMs running on Proxmox Hypervisor.
• Hosting and maintaining the company website on AWS cloud system (EC2, S3bucket, EBS, VPC, RDS, Route53, Elastic Load balancer, Auto-scalling, CloudWatch) and monitoring the website (Magento 2.3.3) and ERP system (odoo) using cloud watch and SNS system.
• Managing the DNS on cloudflare.
• Creating virtual environments on proxmox for our local development and staging sites.
• Updating the live site with version control system using Gitlab.
• Bash/shell scripting for system automation on different needs.
• Configuring and maintaining the mikrotik routers as firewall, bandwidth manager.
My responsibilities were like below-
• Linux server administration on different Linux platforms (Redhat, Centos, Debian and Ubuntu.
• Hosting and configuring websites on cloud servers and maintaining them on Rackspace, Verio, Media temple, Shared hosting & Amazon EC2 environment. Knowledge of working on AWS VPC, EC2, S3 Bucket, RDS, Elastic Load Balancer, Auto-scaling, SNS, Route 53 and CloudFront.
• Network monitoring tools like Nagios, Cacti and MRTG.
• Installing and configuring LAMP environment for clients and installing Varnish cache, REDIS/Memcached Server, NGINX, hhvm, php5-fpm server as per requirement.
• Maintaining version control system using Git, Bitbucket, and Subversion.
• Communicate with the client for the details of their requirement and coordinate the whole project accordingly.
• Using project management tools like Jira, Zendesk, Basecamp and Redmine.
• Instruct the designers and the developers on the workflow and divide the whole project into individual slots and instruct them to execute them within the time limit.
• Before delivering the product to the client, get the design and functionality checked by the QA team and myself to ensure the exact product outcome for the client.
1. Commissioning new link to the client end using Fiber optic, Radio Link, ADSL modem, Broadband Routers and using switches for the expansion of client’s office network. Efficiently planning and allocating IPs for the clients.
2. Configuring and troubleshooting of Linux proxy server (Squid), SMTP server (Postfix, qmail), POP3 server (Dovecot, qpopper) DNS server (Bind9), webmail (Squirrel mail, Openweb mail, Roundcube mail), FTP server (ftp, vsftp), DHCP server, load balancing.
3. Configuring Wireless routers and Access points for client’s office network and using security policy for secured access of the clients.
4. Accessing client servers on client requests for monitoring access logs, maintaining their servers, (Linux) using various commands for configuring, editing different applications on the server until support reaches client’s satisfaction. I had to communicate over the phone and if necessary, then had to visit the foreign clients like Embassy of Sweden, Italian Embassy, Singapore consulate, British Airways, Chevron, BBC, Oglilvy & Matthers, and SGS Bangladesh etc.
5. Monitoring network using tcpdump and wireshark.
My daily responsibilities were as follows-
1. All kinds of trouble shootings (Hardware & Software related).
2. Networking related works (Building network through structured cabling system and Configure & administer Wireless Access points for Wi-Fi setup at a new office such as among PCs, CCTV, Printers, and scanners).
3. Network monitoring.
4. Assuring the whole network secured from warm, virus & spyware.
I completed my thesis on "Infrared System for House automation" and that was a successful one.
