• Responsible for approval of the all the works executes on behalf of the client.
• Preparation of Concept sketches based on client requirement, site conditions budget and local building regulations.
• Preparation of detailed Architectural drawings and specifications.
• Quality and progress of works in line with drawings, specifications and programme.
• Responsible for review of shop drawings by the Contractors.
• Interfacing and co-ordination between Consultants and Contractors from
Architectural / Civil, Interiors, Structural Mechanical, Electrical and other service
disciplines as also with Clients, Project Managers and all other concerned on a regular
basis.
• All other works related to regular Design /Project Management Department
• Supervise and manage construction activities, conduct on-site inspection and check the quality of work, materials and equipment of the contractors. Check if the materials and any portion of work conform to the drawings and specifications.
• Review programme of works, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements,
samples and other documents submitted by the contractors.
• Supervise sampling/testing of materials and review test results.
• Review Contractor's Progress Reports and compare with the planned line bar charts
versus the actual (S-curves) and advise them of any delays and problem areas.
• Check and evaluate contractors' valuations and compare them to the physical progress of the projects.
• Implement procedures on site for quality assurance and quality control.
• Maintain records of all proceedings, correspondence, approval and milestones of the assigned projects.
• Conduct and minute project meetings with client, contractor and sub-contractors to review progress for assurance of the completion of project on time.

February 2009- August2012 • Worked as an Architectural Team Leader with QDC ( Qatar Design Consortium) - Design Department
• Responsible for Designing, planning and Monitoring the Design Stage till Tendering of Project.
• This included preparation and review of Front End Documents, Issued for
Construction Drawings (All departments), Planning, Scheduling and monitoring, Co- ordination with other in-house departments (mechanical, electrical and structural), co-
ordination with Local Government and Municipal bodies for Norms and Laws which
includes preparation and co-ordinating with Civil Defense Drawings.
• Work included Co-ordination with Stakeholders and Other Project Team members
including sub-consultants, Client, contractors, sub-contractors, specialized teams etc.
• All of the above also required occasional site visit and clarifications of RFI's arising during the construction stages.
• All of the works were carried out within the country of Qatar.
• The nature of works were multi faceted and multi dimensional in nature such as -
o Commercial Centre in West side of Ras Laffan for Qatar Petroleum.
o Completion of housing project of PEO at Jery Al Dabi and Umm-
Ghreeba
o Sewage Treatment Plant (capacity 600 m3/day) at Jary Al-Dabi Site, Al
Rayyan Area for Domopan.
o Additional Mosque and Store at Jari Al Dhabi site, Al Rayyan for
Domopan
o Manweir, Workshop and Administration building in Ras Laffan Industrial
City for Mannai Corporation.
o Labour and Staff Accommodation in West side of Ras Laffan for Al-
Aqaria.
o Qatar power transmission system Expansion Phase-VIII Substations for
Kahramaa in various parts of Qatar.
o Development of Camel Barns and Camel Clinic at Laawena, P.E.O
