The job involves EHS coverage for both upstream and downstream civil, mechanical & electrical activities for about 2500 personnel. The SGD project included 24 inch & 16 inch 50 km. long pipeline with 08 rig wells. Our project scope is to construct 50Km pipeline, 08 intermittent Pump stations. Electrical instrumental substations etc. for LNG transportation from wellhead to Shah Gas plant.

ECC Division up to Feb '2007, left the Organisation as Sr. Safety Engineer During L&T ECC Division Journey self was associated with the various prestigious Project, like Construction of High rise Corporate Building of Bank of Baroda at Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, Construction Of 14 Storied Kenwood Hotel, Service Building and Convention Centre at Powai, Mumbai, Construction of Prefabricated Multi Storied School Building Project - Gujarat, Construction of RPL - Reliance Petroleum Refinery Project in Jamnagar.

The assigned responsibilities were ..
• Preparing Project Construction HSE Plan, Training Plan as well as fixing the Training matrix, Traffic Management Plan, Construction Environment Management Plan etc. and facilitate in implementing.
• Monitors compliance with relevant legislative requirements applicable at activities.
• Develops Entire Project specific Hazard and Risk Management for project activities.
• Maintaining HSE related documentation, Project Specific HSE induction to the new joiners, Coordinating & conducting for craft related training, Site coordination, Conducting Internal HSE Audit for the implemented system, Accident investigation/ reporting, implementing the HSE Plan, interact with client representative etc.
• Carryout internal HSE audits on ALL subcontractors including catering contractor, effectively handles pressures Continuous improvement in developing, implementing and securing HSE management systems, welfare programs of employees at work and in residential camp, safe working procedures, HSE training etc.
• Arrange variety of HSE initiatives to continually improve, achieve ZERO lost time incidents / accidents and maintain excellent performance, best practices. Identify and drive implementation of safety initiatives which improve performance.
• Good knowledge and experience of carrying out emergency response drills, evacuation drills with different scenarios Promoting safety awareness and conducting workers HSE training activities. Ensured effective project emergency response plans are developed and aligned with contractor plans
• Responsible for implementing the specific processes, programs and performance delivery that allows the project to achieve compliance with HSE regulations HSE standards and objectives without damage to the reputation of the company.

• Support and participate in HSE studies and reviews (Eg. HSE Impact Assessments, HAZOPs, HSE Reviews and Audits) and ensure recommendations are progressed, tracked and closed out.
• Ensure relevant HSE input is made into all change proposals.
• Monitor regulatory consent processes and ensure the project complies with HSE legal requirements during design and construction phases.
• Maintain the project HSE database and ensure the HSE reporting requirements
• Coordinate HSE training for project personnel and contractors as appropriate. Monitor contractor training programs to ensure delivery of competent and safe work force
• Executing the internal audit strategic plan that is designed to address the significant business risks and to evaluate and test the internal control structure of operations.
• Providing timely and value-added reporting to management; and proactively identifying potential areas of assistance to auditees in the development and/or implementation of new processes, procedures and policies.
• Work with management at all levels of the business to "sell" the concept of identifying and managing risk and develop a culture of control.
• Establish and document a framework for the audit function in terms of standard reporting templates along with specifications thereof, audit calendars and such other functional processes and procedures.
• Perform Internal Audit reviews to identify risk and existing risk management / control practices. Identify areas of weakness / exposure and develop practical recommendations to manage these exposures.
• Review accounting and operating procedures for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and management policies. Make recommendations to correct non-compliance conditions where required.
• Plan and execute financial and operational audits. This includes identifying and researching applicable operational/financial/technical issues and effectively applying knowledge of the organizations operations and industry practices to audit matters.
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate professional contacts and relationships with the company personnel and external auditors/consultants.
