to the successful Claims of Variations of the Project
•Prepare material quantity take offs and bills of quantities
•Responsible for checking completed works and arranging payment to Sub-contractors.
•Monitoring all Back Charges report
•Establish detailed breakdown of new rates
•Assess all Quantities, Contract Drawings and Latest Design Drawings, Costs, and approved Inspection Requests for claiming for Variations, Interim payment Applications and Final Account
•Maintain tracking schedules for Variations, Day works, Payments, Final Measure submissions as required
Duties and Responsibilities
•Assess all Quantities, Contract Drawings and Latest Design Drawings, Costs, and approved Inspection Requests for claiming for Variations, Interim payment Applications and Final Account
•Responsible for checking completed works and arranging payment to Sub-contractors.
•Coordinate with other departments such as drafting, planning, procurement and production.
•To perform duties diligently and finished up the work for the day before leaving.
•Maintain tracking schedules for Variations, Day works, Payments, Final Measure submissions as required
•Establish detailed breakdown of new rates
to the successful Claims of Variations of the Project
•Establish Valuations for Monthly Interim Payments Certification
•Achieving the best value of materials and services through effective coordination with project site team and the procurement department
•Taking off quantities and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for Tenders/Pre-contract
• Familiarize the Contract Scope of Works
•Application of CESMM3 and POMI for measurement of quantities
•Negotiate with the commercial staff of the Clients/Consultants to ensure commercial requirements and processes are being met
•Request for Engineers Instruction from Consultants/Clients in order to execute the works not included in the Contract
•Visit the Site and undertake any physical site measurements as may be required to secure full and detailed measurement records
• Initiate measurement queries where inconsistencies or anomalies exist or are discovered on drawings or in specifications
•Coordinate with other Project Departments to ensure provision of satisfactory commercial support.
