• Prepares, updates, and revises Master Development Schedule
• Prepares, follow up the preliminary schedules for the projects under design
• Monitors and follow up the progress of works for the projects under construction
• Reviews consultants' and contractors' programs against contractual deliverables
• Issues high level program update on project status to Development & Project Managers
• Prepares weekly report to the Senior Management
• Updates monthly presentation for the Senior Management
• Prepares monthly reports as required by various departments (s-curves, milestone tracker, newsletter update)
• Creates project construction milestones required in establishing payment plan prior to market launch
• Attends planning / progress meetings
• Maintains up to date database of existing/on going major projects/contracts
• Coordinates with different business units within the organization for planning and scheduling matters.
• Reviews and approves contractors’ programme of works, ensuring that it is in accordance with the contract
• Reviews contractors’ progress and ensuring that the programme is updated on a regular basis
• Liaises with resident engineers to determine reasons for any lapses in progress and issues affecting the progress
• Projects completion dates based on current progress, advises on the effect of any progress remedial measures
• Monitors and reviews the contractors daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Attends regular progress meeting
• Establishes project schedule/baseline of various high-rise building projects in its different phases/disciplines using Primavera Project Management (P3/P6)
• Prepares manpower, costs and other resource loading utilization; histogram, s-curves and cash flow diagram
• Monitors and updates progress of on-going projects
• Generates daily, weekly, monthly, and dashboard reports
• Alerts and informs Project Managers of project delays and slippage against the Baseline
• Creates recovery schedule for projects in delay
• Prepares time impact analysis for project claims/delay
• Reviews and checks suitability of subcontractors’ schedules
• Creates construction programme proposal for project tenders
• Provides assistance to QS; work on quantity take-off/calculation when necessary
• Attends Employer/Engineer meetings relevant to project’s programme
• Provides technical assistance to Branch Manager, Project Director, & Senior Planning Engineer
• Assumes responsibility of Planning Engineer/s on leave
Conducts 3-day training of basic project planning using Primavera Project Planner (P3)
• Establishes project schedule/baseline of various high-rise building projects in its different phases/disciplines using Primavera Project Planner (P3)
