The Vision Web is a Dutch top-level ICT-consulting firm (650 consultants). The Vision Web merged with the French ICT firm Ordina in 2002
• Co-founded WebImpact, digital communications focused and fully autonomous micro-enterprise within Crexx, a daughter company of The Vision Web. Within one year, WebImpact grew to a staff of 16, becoming one of the five most successful and profitable of the 40 micro-enterprises within the company. Within WebImpact, fulfilled the role of (shared) business unit manager, consultant and project manager. Clients included ABN-Amro, HBG-Interbeton, Road Air Logistics, and Tebodin.
• Co-initiated the feasibility study for a Singaporean office for The Vision Web and was the first to be sent to Singapore as pioneer to establish grounds upon which The Vision Web could start operations in South East Asia. The Vision Web Asia launched as Solvision Singapore in February 2000.
• Managed the daily operations of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Web Development team of 34 people in 5 countries.
• Managed production and maintenance of 14 regional corporate Internet sites in 11 languages, and Symantec’s intranet and extranet in
4 languages (over 25, 000 web documents).
• Realized the implementation of the European side of Symantec’s global e-commerce strategy and the development of Symantec’s digital
branding strategy.
• Member of the worldwide branding committee, the publisher’s committee and publisher of the nortonweb.com sites (4 languages). • Received numerous awards for outstanding achievements, such as the A++ Award, Team Work Award and Customer Care Awards
