(TBAL) is a state-of-the-art facility, producing aero-structures for Boeing’s AH-64 Apache helicopter, including fuselages, secondary structures, and vertical spar boxes for international customers and embarked in co-development of integrated systems in aerospace and defense.

Key Accomplishments:
• Developed quality metrics, designed appropriate test plans for processes, products, or components to ensure compliance with aerospace quality norms & regulations, customer requirements, product fit, and safe to use.

Key Accountabilities:
• Applying quality practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts in performing error-free inspections of parts and semi-finished products (cabins) received from suppliers (e.g., MHI, Japan).
• Fostering effective communication with on-site customers (including SAC) and developing relations with customers and promptly reporting activities to higher management.
• Assigning work appropriately among executives and enabling inspectors/executives to perform 'error-free' inspection without using any short-cuts in their methods.
• Performing inspections (final or in-process) products or components or sub-assembly operation and preparing required documentation along with analyses of defects trends which are minimized & eventually eliminated.
• Evaluating NC to MRB, RRCA & mistake-proofing and reviewing First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) in addition to entering details into the SAP system.
• Identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective/preventive action, the root cause, and suggesting corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
• Providing inputs for quality alerts, inspection test plans, welding control plan for jigs, repair analysis, troubleshooting for weld repairs

Fabtech is accredited with ASME U, U2, PP, A&S certifications & also ISO 9001:2008 certification from SGS, API 4F, 2B, 8A, 8C, 650 licenses. Fabtech is engaged in engineering, procurement, construction and repair of Pressure Vessels, boilers, storage Tanks, skid packages, Drilling Derricks, mud systems, pressure piping, and oilfield terminals.

Accomplishments:
• Bestowed with an appreciation for outstanding performance & contribution as QA/QC Engineer in West Qurna-1 Initial Oil Train Project.
• Registered success as a team member twice for the certification audit of ASME U & U2 stamp and twice for the certification audit of API 4F, 2B, 8A, 8C, 650 & 16C.

Key Responsibilities:
• Served as a key member of the QA/QC team and overseeing all elements pertinent to project quality control, inspection, and compliance with engineering standards, specifications & drawings.
• Provided technical inputs during engineering/procurement/construction phases of PO scope of supply/projects and played a vital role in developing robust QC Procedures, method statements, ITPs, Welding Control plan, repair analysis, troubleshooting for weld repairs in addition to presenting periodic reports and Final QC Dossier.
• Validated all project-specific quality plans /inspection test plans (ITP), MTCs submitted by sub-contractors and mediated with client and sub-contractors for planning and mobilization resources, conducting NDT, and ascertaining alignment with contract requirements.
• Offered technical support in Pre-Inspection meetings (PIM), kick-off meeting, QC meetings, and project meetings with and promptly addressed any outstanding QC issues.
• Compiled internal NCRs/ inter-department quality memos of non-conformances during the fabrication/ manufacturing stages and supported the closure of NCRs and quality issues.
• Developed technical specifications for purchase orders of plates, pipes, flanges, fittings & electrodes; issued Welding Procedure Qualifications and Welder Qualification as per ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1.
• Witnessed mechanical testing of materials (Tensile, Bend test, Impact test, hardness test, etc) and PMI, hardness test, NDT and hydro test of pressure vessels, tanks and high-pressure piping, pneumatic tests.
• Carried out welding inspections, materials inspections and vendor inspections as well as inspection of piping systems in alignment with P & ID and Isometric drawings.
• Oversaw welder performance and welding consumables storage and baking requirements. Performed dimensional inspection of off-shore frames, high-pressure piping, pressure vessels, structural, skids, and all Critical Structures.
• Participated in Factory Acceptance Test and created final punch list for all test packages as well as issued punch lists for incomplete works and follow up and close out of punch list items and reported the calibration status of pressure gauges, load cell, elcometer and all other inspection/measuring devices.
• Witnessed load tests of offshore frames, pad eyes of big structures as per the approved procedure as well as Holiday testing and Adhesion testing of Painting and coating.
• Maintained cordial relations with project clients, classification societies like ABS, DNV, LR & various third-party inspectors like BV, SGS, VELOSO, Moody International, etc., at different stages of manufacturing activities.
• Performed several local/international visits and audited in mills, toured material supplier’s premises during new projects to maintain quality and compliance with customer projects requirements.
