✓ Review and interpret “Request for Proposal” or “Tender Document” received from Client and comprehend the scope of works.
✓ Scrutinize, review of tender drawings/documents for discrepancies, additional Bill of Quantities items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer; liaise with consultant regarding ambiguities contract work scope and seek clarifications there to.
✓ Prepare Take-off tender quantities as per Tender drawings and specifications, compare with the quantities given in the Consultant Bill of Quantities and advise of any major difference.
✓ Advising the senior estimator about quantity discrepancies and raising the same with the Consultant.
✓ Collate documents to prepare enquiry for various subcontract packages.
✓ Identify relevant subcontractor who may be interested or are already bidding for the project for others.
✓ Issue Subcontract enquiry packages to shortlisted Subcontractors
✓ Liaise with Subcontractor to resolve any clarifications / pending information
✓ Analysis of rates for Labor, Material and Plant (fixed and variable) and thus assist build up costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost for the Bill of Quantities items
✓ Follow-up with Subcontractors on quotes received for clarifications / compliance with requirements in Tender documentation.
✓ Regular update of subcontractor database.
✓ Produce enquiry schedules from tender documentation and prepare subcontract packages
✓ Gather and submit relevant RFI to the appropriate party and track each RFI
✓ Compilation of tender/bid offer submissions
