Working as a Logistics Process Improvement Manager and reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager Retail, my role is to initiate and manage process improvement projects, conduct logistics feasibility studies, support new territory and brand introduction activities, and on-going business and development projects.
• Responsible for monitoring the end to end supply chain cost and currently working on the following process improvement projects for bringing down the cost from 3.4% to 2.9% of retail sales:
• Supporting the continuous improvement initiatives of inventory and lead time reduction through implementation of the following projects:
• Continuously working with all the relevant stakeholders (in-house/3PL providers) to implement SLA & contract enhancements to drive cost & operational synergies in order to produce a cost efficient and ‘agile’ supply chain.
• Currently working on the feasibility study for development of a regional semi-automated distribution center in UAE.
Workedas an Assistant Distribution Centre Manager while reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, my core responsibilities include managing the entire warehouse operations for the distribution of P&G and Mars products all across the U.A.E.
Responsible to facilitate the end market operations team in the testing and implementation of SAP LE (logistics execution) module.
My prime duty was to manage the warehouse and transport operations while ensuring smooth running of Primary/Secondary transport as well as transportation for Raw & Packing Material, including management of liquid cargo with an entire portfolio spanning over 2 Billion Rs. In addition to it, I worked as a Country Process Expert for SAP MM/WM.
Responsible for assisting the Operations team in streamlining operational activities such as material movement, inventory & warehouse management and transport management.
