Responsible for warehouse staffs supervision and handles day to day operation of the store. Primarily responsible for identifying, coordinating and maintaining inbound store activities includes stock management, information system and stock movement management and processes. Proactively manage inbound finished goods and materials from domestic and international vendor. Lead the team of warehouse operation.

1) Inventory management including inventory planning (MRP)

Own all aspects of warehousing and material management including fulfillment, transactional quality, inventory accuracy, productivity and shipping.

Warehousing inventory, Reviews on a monthly basis the stock levels and forecasting for the next four months.

2) Warehousing Policies

Ensure the warehouse operation is fully compliant with company’s warehousing policies.

Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with internal customers and outside suppliers. Oversee day to day function in warehouse activities in shipping and receiving including handling damaged goods.

3) Coordination and inspection

Confers with warehouse manager to ensure co-ordination of warehouse activities and smooth running of the warehouse. Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment and prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of warehouse equipment. Carries out the warehouse administrative and operational activities as instructed by the warehouse manager.

4) Monitoring

Quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.

Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems. Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements.

Ensure that all warehouse facilities are fully utilized in best possible manner.

Sets goals and conduct regular meetings with the warehouse manager regarding the improvements of warehouse strategy and workflows.

Follow ups on the inventory levels and orders. Prepare requisition to ensure proper stock replenishment.

5) Operational Procedures

Establishes operational procedures for activities such as incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current.

Ensure that all warehousing process and activities adherence to the SOP & company’s quality policy.

Delegating staff duties break periods, working hours and vacation plan of warehouse staffs.

6) People management

Supervising and training of subordinates. Allocating and managing staff resources according to warehouse manager’s instruction. Manage and develop a team of warehouse supervisors to ensure that customer requirements are met in an efficient manner.

Provides suggestions to warehouse manager in areas of shift schedules, overtime work and quality and cost standards.

Assist warehouse manager in developing programs to train and motivate personnel for increased effectiveness and professional development.

Interact with employees daily and participate in decisions regarding employee discipline in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.

Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, yearly monitoring of the target.

1) Warehousing Policies

Ensure the warehouse operation is fully compliant with company’s warehousing policies and safety of the warehouse staffs and material handling equipment operators.

Ensure no damages to the warehouse properties by staffs or material handling equipment.

2) Monitoring

Ensure the proper utilization of storage space, material handling equipment such as forklift and Crane.

Storing the goods and materials received in the yard according to the safety guidelines.

Monitor the loading of dry cargo, loading of fresh foods in supplier’s cold storages.

3) Stock keeping

Maintain stock report and monitor stock movement and ensure the requested goods and materials are shipped to the particular site in time and avoid OOS on sites in Iraq.

Ensure the materials are consolidated according to the distribution plans, re-pack and palletize the goods.

4) Coordination and inspection

Ensure materials and goods receipt are tallying with the delivery notes and are in good condition.

Ensure goods received from the international vendors are in good condition and tallying with the packing list.

Update the procurement team with discrepancy in receipt of goods from local and international supplier and daily receipt of goods and packing lists of the trucks loaded in the yard.

Follow ups with suppliers for materials for a timely delivery and transporter for the trucks arrival in time for loading.

Coordinating with the country manager and assisting him with all the information about the daily warehouse operation, stock levels, stock receipt, shipments and other warehouse activities.

5) Planning

Prepare the daily loading plan to various sites in Iraq. Dispatch the trucks according to the truck plans.

6) People management

Allocating and managing staff resources according to the daily loading plan and utilize the staffs in an efficient manner.
