Field and panel operation

Work as an DCS Operator and streamline processes by operating the DCS system for achieving operational
excellence at the Crude & Vacuum Rerun process unit.
Provide support for engineering, commissioning, services, and operations for DCS in the Crude & Vacuum Rerun
process unit. Handle manpower and resources for major & minor shutdown and start-up activities.
Work with other cross-functional process team members with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency during
commissioning and revamping projects. Drive continuous improvement using metrics and benchmarking to validate
performance and by understanding the root causes of failures.
Perform activities in a wide variety of cross-functional areas including project engineering, process
engineering, production engineering, etc. Provide engineering support to improve existing equipment &
process- related activities.
Supervise operations in refinery centralized control room to ensure production schedule is safely executed without
incident in an environmentally compliant manner. Handle emergency situations (fires) as required and act as
initial incident commander during emergencies.
Support turnaround and unit shutdown planning and execution through active participation in scope development,
providing justification for work items and providing support during commissioning of equipment, shutdown/startup
and outage timeframe.
Maintain comprehensive system documentation (requirements, impact assessment, functional and technical specs,
implementation plan, wellness checks, etc).
