ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Ensuring correct movements without any errors during dispatch of goods.
•To back up work of the Shift managers at necessary times
Initiate the shipping process as directed by Ford and respective customer (Air/Sea Shipment).
•Make the FCL, LCL & Air Shipment pick up vehicle request and container request with Freight Forwarder.
•Adhere to stuffing and invoicing cut-off based on the Gate open and close and vessel sailing schedules.
•Getting the Export plan from the SCM and stuffing it to containers accordingly, and managing OEM dispatches regularly.
•Follow up with CHA and Freight forwarder if scheduled containers & trucks have not reported for stuffing in time on the scheduled date of stuffing.
•Reports - CBM utilization report, Container forecast report, Container swapping report, VSM report, Container Utilization Report and Daily Dispatch Report.
•Using the CBM utilization to work closely with customer for changes in packaging towards increase in cubic utilization.
