Project Material Engineer in response to select suitable material for Highway Construction activity and Quality Control work in Road and Bridge construction as per MoRTH, IRC Specification.
To identify barrow areas and suitable materials for road construction and related works.
Obtaining source approval of construction materials and implementation of same as per PQP.
Mix design preparation for Concrete, Asphalt mix, Wet mix, GSB & soil.
Sub soil exploration and investigation work for design and construction of bridges & pile work.
Leading the team members to implement the Quality activities and procedures in three phase of construction stages.
Maintaining the Site Quality Lab with mandatory testing equipments in connection with calibration as per project requirement.
To confirming the related test requirements of delivered construction materials.
Maintaining the Lab testing documents, QC procedures as per Project requirements on daily base activity.
Implementing and regularisation of ISO procedures.
• Material Submittal, approval procedure, Technical document preparation as per client requirement
• Preparation of Material Notification upon receiving permanent material for client approval
• Checking of Quality certificates, test certificates, frequency of sampling for third party test based as per Project specification & technical details.
• RFIA preparation, Site Inspection & Checking with approved drawings.
• Internal & External Quality Audit support, SOR & NCR closure report preparation.
• Mix Design work of Asphalt, Concrete, Soil, Aggregate per Project specification, requirements & International standards like ASTM, AASHTO, BS, DIN.
• Third party test witness, reports, comments & review.
• Reporting to QC Manager about Daily, Weekly & Monthly quality activates, reports & issues, regular Quality meeting.
• Reporting to Material Engineer about daily activity of testing & Quality checking of incoming construction Materials.
• Root cause analysis & problem solving practice against NCR’s from Client.
• Manage lab activity, equipment calibration, Co-ordinate with lab technician team and follow up of QAP, ISO Procedure & Standards.
Mix Design Preparation for Concrete, Soil, Bituminous Work, GSB & WMM.
Conducted subsoil exploration & soil investigation for foundation work.
Executed new laboratory construction and functioning related with regular site activity.
Leading the quality team and solving issue with client related to site work and quality procedure implementation.
Trained by Project Quality Manager & Material Engineer related with Construction material practice and QAP implementation.
Involved Site activity like site management, survey, structural work, earthwork and etc.
Conducted Sub soil exploration and soil investigation for Major structures like, Bridges, Fly over.,
Tested material like soil, aggregate, cement, bitumen and their products of concrete, bituminous mix.,
Worked as a Autocad teaching staff.
