Brief Description: Selec controls are manufacturer of Electrical meter, Protection & time relays, Programmable controls, HMI, Temperature controls, timer, counter and Current transformers.
- Hands-on experience with QA methodologies, Requirement analysis, writing test plans and test cases based on System requirement specifications. Acquired Knowledge of 5s System tools, Lean manufacturing, PPM, FPY and Process quality & Inward quality.
Responsibilities:
- Defining test processes, test plans and evaluation procedures.
- Analysis of failed products and their Components.
- To carry out process Audit & initiate Corrective Action for Non Conformances rose
- Participate in quality control plan and Process FMEA Review.
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis of internal production line failures and Field failures.
- Liable for 8D Report preparation and interacting with Customers for CAPA
- Inspection and Verification of set up and manufacturing process for no defects.
- Visiting supplier place for inspection & Testing of panels
- Monitoring the Rework process & maintenance of records for the same.
- Documentation (In process audit reports, Non conformance reports, Test certificate)
-Generation of weekly FPY and PPM reports.
-Weekly Quality meeting preparation, review meeting and closure of action points
- Warranty Analysis- Customer Complaint Analysis & Field Return Failures
- Developing customer relationship by solving issues.
- Responding to the customer feedback within the stipulated time & acquiring knowledge of final
Dispatch by verifying quality documentation & Preparation of test certificate for the products.
- To Train QA inspectors about the products quality criteria to ensure the product outgoing quality.
- To provide training of quality knowledge and to give introduction of new product to operators.
Projects handled:
1. New products manufacturing process set:
- Liaised between design, manufacturing and executive teams as a contributor in Ensure of product
Manufacturability, robust design and transition from prototype to Production.
2. Making of robust Process FMEA of product category wise:
- Prepared process FMEA after analysis of fault categories product wise.
3. Lean and 5S awareness

-Communicated with vendors for improvement of product quality
Project was based on automation in 6-axis IRB6400 ABB robot which was used for welding purpose. Automation was achieved by using optical sensor(camera) and image processing.
Project Title: Digital Voltmeter using micro-controller AT89C51
(VI th Semester)
Brief Description: A digital voltmeter is an instrument used for measuring the electrical potential difference between two points and gives numerical display of voltage by use of LCD display. Micro-controller 8051 was used.
