• Acting as senior designer with continual project roles, including liaising with
Client & sub consultant coordination.
• Involved along with the head of ID dept in brief taking, concept design and
in overseeing the design documentation for consistency of design vision
throughout.
• Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established
standards.
• Extensive involvement and expertise in FFE selections & specifcations.
• Schedule and conduct technical coordination and presentation meetings
with the Client project team.
• Carried out post contract services within the MENA region including site at-tendance,
inspections, defects/snags and other related tasks up until the
handover of the projects.
• Managing and preparing the design team for tender & construction docu-mentation.•
Together with the head of ID assist in project planning & resource allocation
& work fow.
• In addition, conduct all other duties as required on a project basis.
Assisted the lead designers with the design development, material selections and graphics of the Sofitel Hotel and Resorts project on Palm Jumeirah.
- Developed knowledge of detailing and development of drawings.
- Also carried out renderings of plans.
Assisted the design manager with the design concepts, client meetings and material and furniture selections
- Was in charge of independent projects, and overlooked its development and execution.
- Developed an extensive knowledge of the details in Office Interiors
- Developed proposed furniture layout plans to determine practical requirements and challenges in planning the space according to the needs of the client
- Carried out site inspections to study the site and its existing facilities
Demonstrating the knowledge and understanding of green building practices and principles needed to support the use of the LEED® Green Building Rating System.
