RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review all aspects of contract documents and specifications and take of items related to technical parts and make clearance information for our engineers and management’s.
• Review engineering drawing and specifications and ensure the correctness of transfer of drawing details to Ground.
• Calculate the progress made in piping, pipe-support & pipeline.
• To assist contract administrators in the measures for the bills of quantities made.
• Computer knowledge related to Quantity Surveying field.
• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) for piping (metrology, associated supports, number of welds, material types).
• Responsible for work shop fabrication of piping and steel structural materials qty.
• Undertake technical review of all mechanical and piping related components on designs produced at all stages and verify completeness to technical standards and constructability.
• Provide technical advice to project management and technical support to the Design Manager, and act independently as may be required under certain circumstances.
• Work proactively with the PMC and design consultants to resolve any problem related to the layout design of mechanical requirements.
• Estimation of quantities as per drawing. schedule the work, and efficiently
• Determination of material, tools, equipment and manpower requirements.
• Provide appropriate solutions for all parties, evaluate and analyze all client requirements and execute all piping specifications for clients and recommend appropriate alternatives.
• Creating of all the pipe supports drawings that linked with WARA project with material value around 300 ton design and (shop drawing and bill of materials.
• Supervise the steel structural workshop, and supports in field installations.
• Preparation of daily, weekly progress and Monthly reports.
• Piping span calculation and selection of pipe supports.
• Preparation of Isometrics drawings.
• Preparation of rigging plan for equipment’s erection.
• Preparation of pipe line and flowline welding map.
• GA Drawings for Piping & Equipment’s from 3D model.
• Prepare and arrangements for design drawing for pressure vessel and mechanical equipment.
• Prepare design drawing for elevators, escalators, and travellators.
• Coordinate the drawing between main contractor, subcontractors, Consultants, Ministries.
