• Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities and pricing schedules to
be sent to subcontractors and suppliers for quotations.
• Participate in vendor negotiations and procurement activities to secure the best
pricing for materials and services.
• Interact with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify
project requirements and provide cost-related information.
• Preparing interim payment applications measuring, valuing, submitting, clarifying,
rectifying, and coordinating with the consultant.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for different phases of the project, advise the
project management on possible cost overruns and on the action necessary to
remain within the approved project budget
• Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts & commercial reports.
• Check/evaluate subcontractors’ monthly payment applications and prepare
payment certificates with all backup documents
• Attend the weekly subcontractors’ commercial meetings to tackle payment and
commercial-related issues arising.
• As a senior, giving the proper guidance to colleagues in the commercial
department to get the maximum output & and efficiencies.
