SWCC project

QA/QC Manager to assist and control all quality maters with contractor and sub-contractors.
Mantian the works as per approved project specification and QMS etc.

- Reporting to Company Site Representative (CSR Onboard)
- Ensure Project specific engineering standards, specifications, procedures and work Instructions contained within the terms and conditions as defined within the applicable COMPANY EPCIC contract agreement are applied by the contractor.
- Ensure quality control activities contained with the EPCIC contractors internal OMS quality manual are being implemented and applied as described.
- Ensure the EPCIC contractors instructions contained within the contractors project specific execution plan, procedures, work instruction and ITPs are being implemented and applied as described.
- Ensure all applicable National standards and specifications requirements listed within the project specification contained within the applicable EPCIC/CFME contract agreement are being implemented and applied as described.
- Perform inspection verification/monitoring welding work activities according to approved quality plan / inspection test plan.

Presently working with Arabian Bemco Contracting Co. Ltd as Welding Inspector at Qurayyah Combined Cycle Power Plant Project (QCCPP) Phase II

1) Bemco Steel Industries Co. Ltd., KSA

Position: QA/QC (Piping & Tanks)
Project: Power Plant PP 10 Riyadh

Duties and Responsibilities Include: ¤ Check the joint preparation and fit up of piping & equipment of different material as per WPS & Drawings
¤ Inspect the welding as per WPS, Specifications and Codes
¤ Verify the filler wires and electrodes as per WPS
¤ Prepare and maintain the record of all fit up and welding on daily basis
¤ Conduct & witness the WQT of pipe and plate welders
¤ To check the RT films of welders for updating their repair %age log.
¤ Maintain a master list of qualified welders and maintain the welder continuity log.
¤ Check the electrode baking and issuance log daily
¤ Check the calibration and working condition of baking and holding ovens
¤ Issue copy of WPS to the concerned persons (welding supervisor) according to base material
¤ Check the welder cards of welders working on job at site area to verify their qualification for particular job being welded.
¤ Prepare welding summery of test packs.
¤ Perform the final box up inspection of static equipment.
¤ Prepare dossier of equipment and piping system as per project technical specifications.

Responsibilities as Mechanical inspector (piping) include: ¤ To do Inspection of Piping fit ups as per ISO drawings
¤ Piping system walk down inspection and preparing punch list of discrepancies
¤ Witness of hydro testing of piping system and preparing inspection reports

2) Metscco Heavy Steel Industries Co. Ltd., KSA
May 2007 - August 2009 and November 2010 - May 2012
Position: QA/QC Engineer - Mechanical
Project: Erection of Oil & Water Storage Tanks

RESPONSIBILITIES:
∇ Qualification of welders / welding operators in accordance with ASME Sec IX & AWS D1.1
∇ To maintain welders / welding operators continuity log.
∇ Raise NCRs against deviations/violations and closing the same after proper corrective actions
∇ Ensure that welding is performed as per approved welding procedures.
∇ Co-ordination with Customer Inspector, ASME Authorized Inspector for carrying out external inspections
∇ Material Verification of boilers according to Drawings & cutting plan
∇ Check Marking of Nozzles, Pads, Man holes, Head holes and other boiler accessories as per Drawings.
∇ Visual Welding inspection of Nozzles, Pads, Man holes, Head holes, end plates, Circumferential as well as longitudinal shell joints, other boiler accessories and referring them for Radiographic Testing
∇ Check the internal & external cleaning of Tank before Hydrostatic test.
∇ Witnessing Hydrostatic tests of pressure vessels as per governing codes, applicable drawings and client specifications.
∇ Carrying out Peaking, Banding, Plumbness, and Roundness Inspections
∇ Check data punching in accordance with TPIA reference
∇ Preparation of Dossier for submission to the Third Party Inspector
