•Coordinate with other IT groups for the routine queries, troubleshooting for networks, systems and applications.
•Installations, reinstallations, de-installations and new deployments of CDC software.
•Perform proper distribution of the IP addressing scheme for KSE users, maintain the record and ensure complains in this regard.
•Follow routine hardware and software maintenance schedules for test equipment/tools and packages in-use.
Nature and Scope of work as a Desktop Support Engineer :
•The purpose of Desktop Support Engineer is to provide support to all CDC departments for their Desktop Networks.
•Coordinate with end users to extend technical support and/or to investigate technical support issues.
•Coordinate with different vendors for diagnosing and elimination of problem.
•Maintain Inventory of Desktop equipment - PCs and peripherals, installed licensed-software/operating system and ensure only authorized relocation of hardware and software; keep record of related maintenance activities and provide required status reports.
• Update Desktop Support Site according to modification of hardware and software as well as movement of PC.
•Coordinate network teams to further investigate the network and connectivity related issues.
•Carryout any other job assigned by the seniors
