Position-Tier 1.5 ‘’Shift Engineer’’
* Within this role I work with 3 UK government PSN companies, such as Transport for London, Anglian
Water Company and Local Authorities. With Local Authorities some of the sites are within Europe,
therefore I must work with engineers within Europe in order to resolve any complex issue the
customer site is experiencing. Transport for London is one of the main customers, where I look after
their three circuits these are the following: traffic signaling exchange, CCTV and ibus.
* 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting circuits.
* Dealing with the Escalations.
* Out of Hour working on Company mail box.
* First escalation point to provide customers with an update and let them know resolutions of the
network site circuit.
* Liaising with project management teams, carrier engineers and service desk engineers on a regular
basis.
