Currently working as Technical Field Engineer on Ooredoo Projects.
Installation / Configuration IPVPN, Business Internet, Broad Band Internet, Cloud Voice shifting / Migration, Copper to Fiber Migration for different entities i.e Bank ATM, IP Phones, PRI over ISDN, Pri Shifting etc. . Doing Survey for resource availability for Copper to fiber migration via P2P or FTTX media.
Installation and configuration of Cisco / Huawei Switches and Routers as per project requirement. Working on CCTV project for connectivity of Ooredoo Security System / Cameras on difference location to be monitored from Single Point.
•Providing rapid and client focused technical Support to 200+ users and ensure proper
Maintenance of workstations, Printers and Peripherals.
•Respond to user service Requests and expediently resolved trouble ticket to maximize
System uptime.
•Deploy new Workstations and printers, installing Operating system applications, Drivers
And configuring network Properties TCP/IP and Hardware related issues.
Responsibilities
• As OAN (Cluster Engineer) in Mobilink GSM responsible for and Looking into all network related issues of 52 sites and providing in time solutions.
• Utilizing all network resources for smooth running of network and reducing the downtime to zero.
• Rectifications of Network Service affecting issues like High VSWR & other BTS internal Alarms.
• Interaction with Vendors regarding Rectifier Modules & Battery Bank issues.
• BSC Health check and BSC units Diagnostics on Regular basis.
• Responsible for O & M of sites and Routine Health Checkup of BSC.
• Responsible for Site related issues like Genset, Battery Backup, Rectifier modules etc.
• Responsible for site audit and keeping a record site equipment like rectifier, Modules, Genset, Battery Bank etc.
To perform Routine (Hardware, Software & Environmental) checks
•Data Base Creation/Deletion (definition).
•To preserve Weekly Backup of HUAWEI Switches.
•Hardware Troubleshooting.
•To ensure 100% availability of inter MSCs & BSCs media.
•To ensure Central Clock availability between Local MSCs and Transmission Equipment.
•To perform No-Audio testing on all inter MSC and MSC ~ BSC CICs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Worked as Network Support Engineer in Mobilink GSM under contract for Multilynx. Looking into all network related issues.
• Providing in time solutions. Utilizing all network resources to smooth running of network reducing the downtime to Zero.
• Responsible for new user ID/Account creation and keeping data record of network resources.
• Responsible for Deploy new Workstations and printers, installing Operating system applications, Drivers and configuration.
• New System implementation
• Updating and monitoring IT user accounts.
• End user training and support
• Scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining up to date Antivirus levels on all machines company wide.
• Working on Active Directory accounts, configuration of Blackberries / Androids Apps & Laptops.
• Troubleshooting technical problems and implementing solutions.
• Providing technical support via helpdesk systems for a wide range of internal & external applications.
Master Degree in Computer Science from AlKhair University AJK in 2002 with 3.42 GPA.
